Scope Academy April 13th @ NCSU

Registration is now open for Scope Academy 2013, the annual science outreach event of NC State University’s College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. This year’s event, which is Saturday, April 13, features a keynote lecture by Duke University’s Robert M. Califf, M.D. A renowned cardiologist and expert on clinical trials and health policy, Dr. Califf will discuss the important roles that basic scientists, clinicians and community partners play in the advancement of biomedical research and, ultimately, human health.

Scope Academy also features poster presentations by PAMS students and seminar presentations by faculty from our five academic departments: Chemistry; Physics; Mathematics; Statistics; and Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
